THE arrival of spring sees the start of the car boot sales phenomenon which attracts thousands of booters and buyers across the county, most of them raising vital funds for local charities.
One of the most popular is staged by Hereford Lions Club on a field on Roman Road opposite Bookers and South Hereford garage.
It re-opens on April 30 for the season.
Since the Lions joined the car boot craze five years ago the club has raised £26,000 for the local charities it supports.
