THE 2016 Lord Lieutenants Cadets' Awards Ceremony took place in the Hereford Shirehall on March 10.
Lady Darnley, the Lord Lieutenant thanked her outgoing cadets for their service to her and to Herefordshire. The cadets represented the Hereford Cathedral School Combined Cadet Force RAF Section, 124 Squadron Air Training Corps, Hereford and Worcester Army Cadet Force and Hereford Sea Cadet Corps.
Lady Darnley then welcomed her incoming Lord Lieutenant's Cadets, who will be serving her throughout the coming year who were representatives from Hereford & Worcester Army Cadet Force, Lucton School Combined Cadet Force, 151 Squadron Air Training Corps and Hereford Cathedral School Combined Cadet Force Navy Section.
It is a great honour for a cadet to be nominated as a Lord Lieutenant's Cadet and each branch of the youth movement selects the very best of their cadets for consideration for the appointment.
