HEREFORDSHIRE Humanists are delighted to presents a talk by celebrants, Jenny Bullough and Dorothy Quayle, who perform non-religious ceremonies.

With at least half of Britain’s population being non-religious, according to the latest census and only a third of marriages in England being held in a church, it is no surprise that people are enjoying more Humanist ceremonies more than ever. Indeed, thousands of such ceremonies are written and conducted by the 300 plus fully-trained celebrants who travel across the entire of Britain providing high-quality, personal and unique, non-religious ceremonies, marking the most important parts in people's lives. In Scotland, around half of the weddings held there are in fact Humanist. As a result most people have been to, or know someone who has witnessed a Humanist funeral, wedding or naming ceremony. Jenny and Dorothy will be talking about the dedicated, committed, interesting and sometimes difficult work of Humanist Ceremonies. So it should be a friendly and informative evening, with answers to any questions.

The event will take place at the Kindle Centre (near Asda) on Belmont Road, Hereford, HR2 7JE on February 24 at 7.30pm.
