THE committee members for the Goodrich Village Hall are delighted to announce a new season of flicks for spring.

The films will be shown on the last Thursday of each month commencing at 7.30pm.

A live recording of The Importance of Being Earnest will be the first showing on Thursday, January 28. Celebrated actor and Poirot star David Suchet plays the formidable Lady Bracknell in Oscar Wilde's much loved masterpiece.

On February 25, fans of the classics can enjoy Gemma Arterton in Gemma Bovery, a Franco-British film version of Posy Simmonds' graphic novel, itself an affectionate pastiche of Flaubert's classic novel Madame Bovary.

Bond comes to Goodrich Village Hall on March 31 with the latest in the franchise, Spectre to be followed in April and May with The Lady in the Van and The Martian respectively.

Tickets for each showing will be £4.50 and enquiries can be made by calling 01600 891249.
