HUGE congratulations to Lucton LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) students who once again exceed expectation and prove just what a talented and "dramatic" set they are. It has been a record high level of those students achieving Distinction grade for their exams, including five students at Bronze and Silver Medal status. This will award them valuable UCAS points for their future university applications.

Between Year 5 and Year 12, there were 34 Distinctions and 13 Merits. These included some record highs of 97 for Alexander Wood and a personal best of Distinction for Bella Smith, both in Verse and Prose. Lily Layton and Tess Mayglothling achieved Distinction for their Duologue Acted Bronze Medal, Georgia Lewis achieved a Distinction for her Bronze Medal Public Speaking, and Ellie-Mae Davies - Bufton and her partner Ellie Evans both got Distinction for their Silver Medal Duologue Acted exam. Particular congratulations go to these students for their hard work as it is a big demand on their time, but most definitely worth it to see all their efforts paying off.

Further down the school, Harriet Sneyd took her first ever exam, and achieved 92. In the Prep School, Morgan Lockwood Wolfe achieved 91 and a Distinction for his first exam here in Verse and Prose. Many of our younger students took their first exam and did incredibly well.

Mrs Rogers and Mrs Sharman are thrilled with the results "it goes to show what can be accomplished when a student sets their mind to it. We would also like to thank all parents who supported your child at home with line learning etc - it is so valuable."
