DURING the October half-term holiday Aspire Dance Studio competed in the week-long 40th Gloucester Dance Festival.
Forty five of Aspire's competition dancers competed in ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, street, song and song and dance sections for solos, duets, trios, quartets and groups.

Overall, the students received seven bronze, five silver and two gold medals where the majority of sections had over 20 entries.
Senior dancers, Teagan Melville and Olivia Sheppard, also gained qualification through to the championship section - Teagan into Modern and Ballet and Olivia into Modern.

The judge commented that this year's festival was of one of the highest standards she had seen across the UK in the last year and she complimented all of the competitors on their excellent technical ability.

Teachers at Aspire are very proud of the dancers and wish them continued success.
