THE Knighton Community Support Project furniture barn has been reopened after being closed for the last few months.
Volunteers have worked hard during the closure to completely refurbish the building.
The barn was re-opened by project chairman Philip Price who said “I would like to thank the staff and volunteers who have kept the charity going through what has been a difficult period. Today is about the barn. I would like to thank Raymond Matthews for letting the charity have a lease on the building, which has allowed us to spend time and money refurbishing it. I would also like to compliment and thank four volunteers for all their hard work in getting the barn ready for today. They are Brian Neary, John Williams, Bob Wright and especially Geoff Hemmins who has spent hours painting the inside of the building."
Philip then declared the barn open and invited everyone to join them for coffee, tea and biscuits.
