EVERY year, scores of people choose to ride a horse, run or cycle for fun, over a fierce 11 kilometre course that is the Huntington Chase. Starting at 12 noon at the village hall, Huntington, competitors climb up to Hergest Ridge, down to Gladestry and end at the Swan Inn for refreshments and food, kindly donated by the women of the village.

All proceeds this year will go the About Face Theatre Company, founded in 1995 as part of ECHO and the only professional theatre company for people with learning disabilities in Herefordshire.

Organiser Peter Kelly said "The main purpose of the day is for the competitors and supporters to enjoy the course and stunning scenery, for some to improve on their personal best times and for every one to finish with sandwiches and refreshments at the Swan Inn, the local pub.

It's great to have a day when so many of the community come together and all in the cause of the About Face Theatre Company."
