TWO young dancers from Hereford's 2Faced Dance Company community programme have great reason to celebrate.

Georgia Rowan, who is 18 and has been a member of the 2Faced Dance community programme for five years, has successfully auditioned for a full-time place at Rubicon Dance in Cardiff. Georgia will study for a BTEC level 3 diploma in dance, covering modules including; ballet and contemporary dance, creative movement and improvisation, choreography and performance and community dance.

Jet Yau, seven years old, came third in the Under Eight Novice category at the national UDO Street Dance competition held in Cardiff. This placing means that Jet will now go forward to the UDO Street Dance World Championships which will be held in Glasgow. Jet has been a Breakdance student with 2Faced Dance for the past two years and will be joining the company's street dance classes this September.

For children and young people of Herefordshire who want to start dance classes, 2Faced Dance have a number of options. There are weekly classes in breakdance, street dance and urban contemporary, as well as classes held in Leominster, all of which are open to children of all abilities.
