RIGHT Worshipful Brother, The Reverend David Bowen, Provincial Grand Master for the Masonic Province of Herefordshire, accompanied by Worshipful Brother Kevin Lyons, Past Master of Delphis Lodge Hereford, completed freefall Tandem Sky Dives from 12,500 foot for charity.
The event took place at Hinton-in-the-Hedges Airfield, Northamptonshire on August 30. The freefall section of the parachute jumps lasted 45 seconds, and were undertaken in aid of the Masonic Samaritan Fund 2020 Festival Fund, proceeds of which in part support medical research which benefits the whole community.
By thus `leading from the front', David and Kevin to date have raised in excess of £5,000 for the charity as a result of their challenging and successful feat.
