IF you'd like to see some racing with a difference then come to Clifton-on-Teme on Sunday. Clifton-on-Teme Hunt Supporter's Club are running the popular moonlight steeplechase and camel racing evening at Woodmanton Manor, Clifton-on-Teme, WR6 6DS.

Joseph's Camels are providing four camels for the event - Kokoso, Kazak, Ruby and Bertie - who are regulars on the television screen (recently the E-harmony advert and a David Attenborough documentary). The camels have been clocked at 25 miles per hour and although the course at Woodmanton will not be long enough for them to reach those speeds, there will be thrills and spills galore. Visitors will also get the opportunity to meet the camels close up during the evening.

There will also be an inter hunt relay competition featuring teams of four riders jumping a course against the clock, a dog show, tug of war and much more, including a licensed bar, barbecue and disco.

The gates open at 5pm, entry is £5, children under 12 go free.
