RESIDENTS of Norton village near Presteigne have just received training on how to use their new village defibrillator from Carl Powell of the Welsh Ambulance service. The Norton public access defibrillator has been provided by Norton Sports Committee with assistance from Presteigne and Norton Town Council and a grant from the British Heart Foundation. The training took place in St Andrew's church Norton opposite where the defibrillator is housed in the village's unused telephone kiosk.
