THE Hereford and District Fuchsia Association held their 19th annual show recently which proved to be a great success, with more entries than ever.
Two new classes were introduced this year - a bonsai class and one for various shaped fuchsias.
Roger Jones won 1st prize with a hoop of fuchsias called Waveney Sunrise and Peter Spitzmaul won the bonsai class.
The British Fuchsia Society judge, Geoff Oke remarked on the quality of all the entries before presenting the cups and trophies to the winners.
During the course of the afternoon, he also gave members hints and tips on growing prize winning plants, which were gratefully received.
