TO celebrate the end of the school term and another 100% exam success rate over 100 pupils at Nicola’s School Of Dance took to the floor to tango and cha cha cha their way towards even more prizes.

The dance school ran an in house competition morning at the shire hall where local children of all ages battled it out strictly style to win points for their teams.

An outside adjudicator from the UKA dance association examined the event and was extremely impressed with the standard and level of technique and performance the children demonstrated.

Principal Nicola Owen commented on “what an exciting morning it had been for the children to do something as a team and display what they’d learnt to the 200 spectators.”

The atmosphere was electric and great sportsmanship was shown amongst the young people.

At the end of the morning Nicola announced a new venture for the school, with the news that Nicola and her husband Edward Owen will be joining forces and expanding into drama and musical theatre in the new term.
