A GARDEN fete was held at Kington Court on June 27, in aid of the Resident's Fund.
A successful day was had by all with many stalls, including a plant stall, cakes, bric a brac, Chinese auction, and many more. Fun was had with a guess the weight of the lamb and guess the name of the sheep competition. The Roly Poly's also made a visit which caused great hilarity to all.
The fete was officially opened by Mr Tony Dawson and the Kington Community Choir came to entertain everybody with their beautiful singing which was enjoyed by all on the day.
The background music was courtesy of Mr Arthur Lloyd, who kept everybody entertained for the afternoon. The residents of Kington Court, relatives and friends all enjoyed the day.
Organisers would like to extend many thanks to all who helped to make the day a success.
