THE Old Railway Line Garden Centre, in Three Cocks between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, scooped most of the awards on offer during the Garden Centre Association’s Wales and West regional awards at Monkton Elm Garden Centre recently.
The family-run, independent garden centre was awarded Best Garden Centre for the fourth consecutive year alongside six other awards out of a possible nine. The Old Railway Line team were also presented with Best Customer Service, Best Garden Products Retailer, Best Indoor Lifestyle Retailer, Best Outdoor Living Retailer, Creativity and Innovation and Environment and Community awards.
Owner Mark Cleary said, “We are over the moon to have been presented with so many awards including Best Garden Centre in Wales and the West for the fourth year in a row; the perfect gift during our 25th year in business. I’d like to thank all of the team for their hard work; these awards are a credit to them for their efforts over the past year.”
Iain Wylie, chief executive of the GCA, added: “The Old Railway Line Garden Centre is really making waves in Wales. Huge congratulations.”
