COMPETITIONS including running races and the pictured sack race were among the events on offer at the recent Dinedor sports day.
The sports were opened by this year’s president, Julia Goodwin, and the sun was shining for most of the day.
There were many different races for all ages.
In addition, there were indoor cookery competitions for the adults and various entertaining craft competitions for the children.
The afternoon was rounded off with hotly-contested pillow fights and a barbecue.
As well as being a day of lots of family fun, around £1,000 was also raised for local charities.
