ON August 15 and 16, Ross-on-Wye Rotary Club will be holding their third model railway exhibition at John Kyrle High School. Last year the exhibition attracted over 20 layouts and was supported by trade stands. All of the exhibitors were very impressed with the venue, and we are very pleased that John Kyrle High School has once again agreed to let Ross Rotary host the exhibition on their premises.

This year there will again be over 20 layouts, many of them new to the Ross exhibition, and the usual trade stands where the public can purchase items for their own layouts, or even start their first one. There will be plenty of advice available with layouts from Wales, Bromsgrove, Cirencester and Combe Martin as well as many local exhibits and representation from local clubs.

The purpose of the exhibition, as well as to entertain, is to raise funds for Rotary charities. This year the club isn't focussing it's fund raising activities on a specific named charity, but will be supporting mainly local charities and good causes.

The exhibition will be open on both days from 10am until 4pm and snacks will be available throughout the day. Do come along, have a great day and support your local community.

Admission charges this year are unchanged from last year: adults £4; age concession £3; family (two adults and two children) £10.
