THE theme of this years flower festival to be held over the August bank holiday weekend at Pudleston Church will be James Bond 007.
This will be an out of the ordinary flower festival as organisers have enlisted the help of the stars connected to James Bond films to raise funds for the church by asking them to donate signed photograph’s of themselves.
These will be on display at the church prior to them being auctioned by McCartney’s later in the year.
Some of the lots donated so far include signed photographs from Dame Shirley Bassey, Dame Judi Dench, Daniel Craig, Samantha Bond, Tobias Menzies, Robbie Coltrane and Hugh Bonneville.
In addition, there will be 19 themed floral displays, with titles such as From Russia With Love and Miss Moneypenny’s office.
