THE Lea village fete will be held on Saturday from 11am to 4pm, with a day full of attractions you don't want to miss.
There will be plenty to do for everyone including companion dog show, art exhibition motorbike demonstration, birds of prey, tug of war and games such as welly wanging, hook a duck, wine pull, races, hoopla and skittles.
Traditional tea and homemade cakes will be served and there will be a mini flower show, crafts and activities in the church, trade stalls, pre-loved toys and books stall, village trail with prizes, hog roast, ice creams, refreshments, live music bands, beer and Pimm's bar, various displays and try outs, bouncy slide, face painting, competitions (children's crafts, photography, flower arranging, cooking and baking etc. - with entry forms and schedules available from Lea Stores), farm machinery display, scarecrow competition, plant and produce stall, fancy dress parade.and much more.
Plus the grand raffle with amazing prizes, including cash, meals out, family tickets to museums and attractions, cinema tickets, pantomime tickets, photo shoot, personalised cushion, bottles, books chocolates, shrubs and many more.
