THE winners of BBC Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year 2015 are all set to perform their winning songs to aid an international crisis.

In celebration of their success, Hereford Cathedral School's Cantabile Girls' Choir will be giving a concert at The Left Bank on July 3 at 7pm to raise funds for victims of the Nepal earthquake.

Since 1998, Hereford Cathedral School has maintained close links with Nepal, and each year a group of students has visited the village of Ghachok, which is in the area where the earthquake hit, and where the school has been continually involved in improving education and opportunity in the local community.

Since its formation in 2008 the choir has been involved in raising over £20,000 for numerous charities in and around Hereford.

Tickets for the concert are £15 each, to include canapés and a glass of wine, with a silent auction and draw on the night. For more information please contact Caroline Mifflin on 07918 172504, or purchase tickets from HCS Music School or Peter Prosser Hairdressing.

The choir will be performing a wide repertoire of musical pieces including classical and folk to Gilbert and Sullivan and contemporary.
