IT is 40 years since local farmers, Leigh and Wendy Miles, started a small trekking centre at their home in Bryngwyn, near Hay-on-Wye. It is now run by their daughter, Becky, and has developed into a thriving riding centre offering riding lessons, hacks, accommodation and three years ago became home to Bryngwyn Riding for the Disabled Group.

To celebrate this milestone, Bryngwyn Riding Centre will be holding a fun day on June 27 from 11am to 4pm. The day shall include riding and carriage driving demonstrations, vintage display, car boot, bouncy castle, face painting, novelty dog show, stalls and a barbecue.

All money raised on the day will go to Bryngwyn Riding for the Disabled Group (HR5 3QN). The group offers riding and carriage driving experiences to adults and children with physical and/or learning disabilities.
