JACK in the Box Nursery in Ledbury has won an award for being the fourth most recommended nursery in the West Midlands.

The nursery came fourth out of 1176 nurseries in the West Midlands.

The top 10 nurseries in the West Midlands received an award from the leading guide to day nurseries, daynurseries.co.uk.

The award was based on the nursery’s recommendations from the children’s families and carers.

Davina Ludlow, director of daynurseries.co.uk, said: “We would like to congratulate Jack in the Box on being the fourth most recommended nursery in the West Midlands! It is a fantastic achievement to be recognised as a highly recommended nursery by the families and carers of the children that attend the setting.

“Their recommendations show the warmth and excellent care that exists in so many day nurseries.

“The first five years of a child’s life are vital in shaping the adult they will become, which is why we decided to recognise those nurseries which are playing such an important part in our children’s lives.”

Jack In The Box Nursery proprietor Jackie Barratt said: “Everyone at Jack In The Box was thrilled to be fourth out of over 1100 nurseries in the West Midlands."

“One of the many things we pride ourselves on at Jack In The Box is the excellent partnerships we have with all our parents and this has been clearly demonstrated by how many have taken their time to recommend us. In fact, the vast majority of our parents come through recommendations from other parents, some from many years back who still remember us fondly.

“Our emphasis is on laughter, learning and love. Along with our superb facilities and experienced, knowledgeable and caring staff have all contributed to this award in addition to our many Outstanding OFSTED reports. However, we are always looking for ways to improve, so we hope to be in the top three next year.”
