ON May 3 a charity bike show will be held at Withington Village Hall in aid of St Michaels hospice and Breast Cancer Haven. This is the fourth time the show will be held and it is getting bigger each year, with many bikes on display in the main hall covering all ages of the motorcycle.

Organisers will also have a large collection of sidecar combinations on display.

All bikes are welcome with a large car park available. There will be a raffle with tickets available on the day with prizes donated by local businesses, including tickets to The Courtyard, a hamper from Morrisons, and two motorcycle MOTs from Eric Rees Motorcycles.

There will also be a hotdog stand, teas and cakes and a bar.

The two charities organisers are supporting are both local with St Michaels hospice providing specialist palliative care and support, and Breast Cancer Haven supporting women and their families during and after breast cancer treatment. The show will be held on May 3 from 10.30am to 4.30pm at the Withington Village Hall, HR1 3PP, entry is free.
