THE Golden Valley Day Centre in Peterchurch held its annual Easter bonnet competition on Easter Monday. They had quite a few entries and the winning bonnet was made by Maggie Harmar with David Jones coming a close second. Organisers would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part and paraded their bonnets.
The Golden Valley Day Centre is open every Monday from 10am to noon and Friday from 2pm - 4pm. It is run by volunteers who open the doors for those wanting to call in and have a cup of coffee and a chat. They are always on the look out for more volunteers so if you are interested please call in an introduce yourself to the team.
