THE junior pupils at Radnor Valley Primary School have been studying the Romans in class. In support of the topic the school cook, Mim Layton-Morris approached the teachers and offered to prepare a Roman buffet for a school lunch.
The children were able to dress as Romans for the day and brought in cushions so they could eat they buffet 'Roman style'. They feasted on bread, cheese, olives, ham, dates, figs.
