THE Inner Wheel Club of Leominster recently hosted a luncheon at The Riverside, Aymestry with the District Club chairman, Jackie Mathews, as guest of honour.
On display were 52 dresses made by members from pillowcases and fabric remnants for the charity Dress a Girl Around the World.
There was also a display of knitted blankets, hats, teddies etc. which are going with Hope Carriers to Romania.
The club are waiting to know the venue of the second round of the District Skittles Competition having won the first round played against Hereford Inner Wheel.
Members are also combining with Rotary to hold a collection for Marie Curie Cancer Care at Morrison’s tomorrow (Saturday, March 21).
