LINGEN Indoor Carpet Bowls Team celebrated a very successful 2014/15 season at Brienton Village Hall on March 5. Having clinched the North Herefordshire Indoor Carpet Bowls League title the week before, they were very successful at the inter club completions.
Roy Price retained the coveted singles trophy whilst Jean Edwards and Gill Williams were runners up in the pairs.
The club have convened on Thursday evenings during the winter months for the past sixteen years as a social occasion, having a chat, cup of tea and a friendly game.
It is only the second time to have won the league shield, although in individual competitions they have a good record.
