THERE were celebrations in the Shop at Bromsberrow when the cafe was finally given a name.
After great deliberations by the judges a name was chosen for the cafe in the shop: 'The Cafe in the Village'. The name was selected from 73 entries and the person who was the winner of the competition to name the cafe, was a visitor - Ann Best from Somerset.
The name was chosen because it was felt that this included the whole of the village and the surrounding area, a cafe in our community and a meeting point for all. Chairman Andrew Perry said: "Thank you to all who took part - some of the names were very innovative. A huge thank you to all who attended the Bromsberrow Brunch and to all those helpers on the day."
The shop is always looking for more people to help in the shop. It is a great place to meet your neighbours, to get to know them and maybe have a chat. If you can spare an hour or two each week or month please do come along and give it a go.
