THE paths of the new Bishop of Hereford and local campaigners Allan and Angela Lloyd crossed at St Michael's Church, Discoed near Presteigne at the Art Exhibition based on The Last Supper.

Bishop Richard Frith officially opened the exhibition, now in its fourth year and organised by the Friends of St Michael's, to an invited audience with proceeds donated to St Michael's Hospice, Bartestree.

This support for the hospice directly resulted from Allan and Angela's Reaching Out For Radnorshire Campaign in support of St Michael's Hospice and in particular their programme of visits to every church and chapel in Radnorshire, in an effort to increase awareness as well as support for the hospice.

Allan and Angela had visited Discoed Church in December, leaving a personalised letter, and signing the visitors' book with the words "Beautiful the day when blessed with kindness".

The Bishop of Hereford was pleased to support the campaign in aid of the new build at St Michael's Hospice.
