IT'S time for Hereford landlubbers to up anchor and sail down to see that most popular of Gilbert and Sullivan comical topsy-turvy shows, The Pirates of Penzance, performed by the multi-award-winning Hereford Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
Members of the society entertained Saturday morning shoppers in High Town last weekend when they gathered at a launch event for their forthcoming production.
Attendees will see the Pirate King and his crazy piratical crew, the modern Major-General and his daughters and the Policeman whose lot ‘is not a happy one’.
Fun for the whole family, the production will run at The Courtyard from February 25-28. Contact The Courtyard on 01432 340555 for more information.
