AS part of the Rotary Youth Service Young Writer Competition, Trinity Beech a pupil at Luston Primary School became the local district prize winner in the age group of seven to 10 years. She wrote a short story of 250 words on the given subject of 'Light up the community'.
A flair for creative writing is a special gift and this competition promotes and encourages young people who show talent in this way.
At her school assembly Trinity received a book token from Leominster Rotary Club which was presented by the president Geoffrey Crofts in the presence of her parents. She will later receive a certificate of the occasion. Arrangements for the competition were made by past president David Farrell.
Trinity's short story has been submitted to district level in the competition.
