AT the end of term before the Christmas break, staff and pupils at Knighton Primary School held a ‘hats and hair’ day when they went to school wearing hats, false hair or had their hair done especially for the day.
The pupils all gave small donation.
The total came to £107 this was donated to Wales Air Ambulance paramedic Neil Lewis at an assembly this week. Neil thanked the children for the money and told them it would be use to keep the Air Ambulance in the air and that hopefully in the future it would be able to fly at night too. He added “ I hope it won’t wake you up in the middle of the night”.
