AROUND 50 properties in Hereford city centre are without power after underground electrical equipment failed.
Fire crews were called to Eign Street, outside the F.Hinds jewellery shop, at around 11.15am after a cover in the road was blown off due to the fault.
Western Power Distribution engineers are currently on site and are attempting to restore power to around 50 nearby properties in stages.
Repairs are being carried out by Western Power Distribution engineers.
The fault was caused by an underground piece of equipment which failed.
