KNIGHTON School's Moonshine Walkers recently presented a cheque for £1000 to The Wye Valley Trust's Lionel Green Project.
The project aims to develop the Lionel Green building at Hereford Hospital, which will be used to provide improved services for breast cancer patients.
Sue Jordan gratefully accepted the cheque on behalf of the trust and Julia and John Llewellyn-Roberts kindly hosted the event in The Tower Gallery.
The money was raised by the ladies at a sleep over in Knighton Primary School, raffles, quiz nights and catering at events.
