COLLEAGUES at Labels, Ross-on-Wye, will be taking part in Christmas Jumper Day tomorrow, helping to raise funds for Save the Children.

The Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is now in its third year and, thanks to supporters popping on their festive pullovers up and down the nation, has raised over £1.6 million to date.

“Of course it won’t just be our own colleagues here at Labels taking part,” said group resources director, Hannah Furnell. “We’re confident that many of our customers will be coming along on the day, dressed in their favourite Christmas jumper.”

“We’ve also invited businesses and organisations located on the Ross Park development to join in the fun: Baileys DIY, The Marine Conservation Society, Physio and Health Matters and Charitylog, so it should prove to be a colourful day around here,” Hannah added.

It’s easy to take part in the Christmas Jumper Day – just wear your Christmas pullover and donate a suggested £2 for adults and £1 for children. Just £2 could pay for potentially life-saving antibiotics to treat three babies fighting infections in needy countries.

Up until tomorrow, special photo booths will be installed at Labels allowing customers to have their Christmas jumper photograph taken. Those who do will be entered into a competition to win a festive hamper worth £50.

Donations can be made at Labels and this year the government will double your donation, matching every pound that you give. Or you can text TEAMLABELS to 70050 to donate £2.
