THE youngest children at Knighton Primary School put on their performance of 'Stella the Little Star' for their family and friends twice last week.
The children had to learn over six songs and told the story of Stella the little star who was chosen to lead the wise men and shepherds to find baby Jesus in Bethlehem.
The story helped children understand that they are important however big they are, and was told by narrators and acted out by the children as they sang.
Hope Hamblin-Ives and Mercedes Wyles who played the part of Stella impressed the audience with their solos. The performance ended with the children wishing everyone a merry Christmas and singing 'We wish you a merry Christmas' in Welsh.
