CHILDREN and staff from Gladestry Primary school have been filling show boxes with gifts for the Operation Christmas child charity. The scheme is run by Samaritan’s Purse who send boxes to underprivileged children around the world. At Gladestry some of the items put in the boxes included paper, pens, loom bands, soap, flannels, a yo-yo, jewellery, teddies and £2.50 to help pay for the box to be delivered.
