NINE year old Emelia Watts known as Mi Mi has presented £500 to Paddy Nugent the community fundraising officer for St Michaels Hospice. Mi Mi raised the money after she had ten inches cut off her long hair cut for the Little Princess trust at family party earlier in the year. Members of her family and friends gave donations to her for The little Princess Trust and St Michael's hospice. A total of £1000 was donated. £500 has already been presented to the little princess trust. At her school, Knighton Primary School last week Mi Mi met Paddy Nugent and Alan and Angela Lloyd who are spear heading the fund raising in Radnorshire for St Michael's Hospice. Alan thanked Mi Mi for the money and for her great achievement and acting head teacher Mary Strong also praised Mi Mi for her massive contribution to charity. Mi Mi wanted to have her hair cut and raise money for the charities after family friend and her hairdresser Jane Priday lost her battle against cancer at St Michael's Hospice in May 2013.

Around £140 was also presented to Paddy on behalf of Marie Hall who organised a swimathon when she ran the Knighton Slimmers World group.
