BAPTIST Minister the Rev Maggie Rich has been in Knighton for the past nine years. In that time she has worked hard for her ministry churches at Knighton, Knucklas and Coxall Baptist chapels. Maggie has done so much in her nine years including being a very active member of the Knighton and District churches together, been involved in all it's events and played instrumental roles in setting up the Lunch Club and the Food Bank.
Maggie is an excellent puppeteer and introduced her puppets to lots of people including the children at Knighton Primary School where she did a short service each week. Maggie will be moving on to the Idle Baptist Church in Bradford and will be taking her last services locally on October 26. On Wednesday there will be a chance for everyone to say farewell to Maggie and to thank her for all she has done at a farewell tea in the schoolroom of Knighton Baptist church starting at 6.30pm.
