KNIGHTON couple William and Muriel Price celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary (blue sapphire) at their home in the Cwm, Knighton recently by holding an open house for their family and friends. Donations were given instead of presents and the couple presented £120 to paramedic of the Wales Air Ambulance Neil Lewis. William has lived in Knighton all his life and Muriel moved to Knighton after they were married in Evanjobb Baptist Chapel in 1949. The couple have two grown up children and two grandsons. Their children Sue and Raymond now run the family business WE Price that William and Muriel ran until they retired.
