AT this week's meeting of Ross Rotary president Tina Atkins had the honour and great pleasure of inducting and welcoming Matt Osborne, into membership of the club. She presented him with his Rotary badge, new members pack and outlined the principles and aspirations of Rotary. Matt was sponsored for membership by Brian Roe who expressed his confidence that Matt would quickly become an active and respected Rotarian.

A former army major, Matt moved to Herefordshire from Cardiff in December 2013 with his wife Leanne and two children, Oliver four and Harriet one. Having retired from the army, Matt now teaches Business Studies at Hereford Sixth Form College.

In response, Matt said he was delighted to be accepted for membership of the Ross Rotary Club. He looked forward to adding value through his efforts in supporting the club's projects as well as becoming more involved in the local community.
