EIGHT year old Emelia Watts who likes being called Mi Mi from Knighton is going to have ten inches of her hair cut off on Saturday at a family party in Beguildy. Mi Mi decided to grow her hair over a year ago because Jane Priday a close family friend and the family hairdresser lost all her hair before she lost her battle against cancer in May 2013. Claire Williams from Room 2 in Newtown will be cutting the ten inches off Emelia's hair and then it will be sealed in a bag and sent to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust make real hair wigs free of charge for boys and girls who have lost their hair during cancer treatment. Mi Mi also wants to raise money for St Michaels Hospice where Jane was cared for before she died. To help Mi Mi raise money for the two charities her family have set up a just giving page. www.justgiving.com/emelia-watts On her page titled 'Emelia's Big Hair Cut' she said " I am cutting my hair for charity, for the little princess trust because my lovely friend Jane lost all her hair".
