STUDENTS from a Hereford college have proven they know how to work as a team in a Young Enterprise competition.
Eight companies from Herefordshire and Worcestershire competed in the West Midlands regional finals of the contest.
The Young Enterprise Strategic competition held at County Hall in Worcester saw Opposites Attract from Herefordshire College of Technology win the award for team work presented by MCP Systems Consultants.
The team impressed judges with after producing magnetic clips called MagniClips which could be used as book marks.
Neighbouring Hereford Sixth Form College’s company Empressa was also included in the competition line-up selling scenic calendars featuring local beauty spots.
Paul Moult, chairman of Young Enterprise South Worcestershire Area Board, said: “Again all the students have demonstrated that innovation and entrepreneurship is thriving in our two counties."
