Herefordshire Business News: New website to promote Hereford city centre

A NEW website to highlight the variety of shops Hereford offers is being created.

The website, which is being put together by Hereford Futures, will be aimed at both visitors and local people and include basic information such as transport and parking, as well as interesting trails to bring the city’s history alive.

Jonathan Bretherton, Hereford Future’s CEO, said: “Visiting Hereford is a very different experience from many other city centres.

"As well as the heritage of all the markets, there are so many independent shops giving visitors a more traditional shopping experience."

The trails will cover food and drink, arts, crafts, jewellery, sustainability, health and well-being, strange and interesting.

Anyone who owns a shop, café or restaurant that they would like included, or have a favourite they’d like to nominate, can email info@herefordfutures.co.uk including the name and address of the business.

There is no charge for being included in the trail, which will be launched in June, and be linked to all the major city websites including Visit Herefordshire and Herefordshire Council.

It's just a diversion tactic by HF and an effort to appease their conscience that they're helping Herefordshire Council sell they city centre down the river with the ESG development. Don't believe the hype - the website is poor at best.

ESG wont work anyway their is No Motorway network to bring the people in the River is unnavigateable by boat thanks to the Environment Agency and the rail links to here are a joke at best ! why oh why this has been allowed ill never know i dont think the council has enough money to sort the M50 out and bring it to the county's capital city so whats the point!
