HEREFORDSHIRE businesses are to get extra support to make the most of the internet.
A new toolkit is being developed by Herefordshire Council and the UK Information Technology Association (UKITA), to help businesses understand how high-speed broadband can make them more efficient.
Herefordshire Council is a partner in the Borders Broadband project, an initiative to bring high-speed broadband to the county.
As well as producing the new business toolkit, UKITA is running a series of events to highlight the benefits of using internet services over faster broadband.
The UKITA events are free and will run from 5p to 7pm on: tomorrow (March 29), The Talbot Hotel, Leominster; April 2, The Peterchurch Centre; April 4, The Falcon Hotel, Bromyard; April 18, The Three Counties Hotel, Belmont Road, Hereford; April 19, The Feathers Hotel, Ledbury; April 24, The Burton Hotel, Kington; and April 26, The Chase Hotel, Ross-on-Wye.
Places are limited so to book call Nadine Kinsey on 01432 260706 or Elaine James on 01432 260609.
