A Ross-on-Wye sweet shop is asking for suggestions about what the taste of Herefordshire really is.
Tudor Sweets in High Street wants to produce the ‘Flavour of Herefordshire’ sweet which will soon be on sale at shops and visitor attractions across the county.
But it wants the help of the county’s residents in deciding what this should be.
“We already produce Ross-on-Wye branded gift jars and tins of sweets for visitors to the town and many local hotels, such as the prestigious Wilton Court, find them very popular with their guests,” said Daniel Pearce, joint owner of Tudor Sweets along with his wife Sue.
“With Herefordshire being such a showcase for local flavours we thought it only natural to represent the county with a flavour of its own.
“What better way to do it than a sweet?”
Suggestions could be a single flavour or a mix and the winner will win £50 to spend in Ross-on- Wye and a jar of their own sweets.
Email info@tudorsweets ofross.com to make suggestions or drop them off at the shop.
The last day for entries is Sunday, February 12.
