HEREFORDSHIRE businesses can find out how to capitalise on the London Olympics 2012 at an event next week.
The event offers details of contracts aimed at various sectors – including food and drink, cleaning services, waste management and more.
Nicky Griffiths, of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, said: “It isn’t just about big businesses, many of the contracts will be tendered over the next two years and smaller companies have been winning contracts across the UK.
“It’s important that businesses know how to register, how to access support and how to maximise their chances of tendering success.
Tendering sounds very onerous, however much of the work is done when a business registers their interest and there is much support to help businesses win those all-important contracts.”
On Wednesday, the chamber is hosting an Olympic workshop at The Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford. It’s free for all businesses to attend and the tendering process will be outlined.
