CHARTERED accountants and business advisers Kendall Wadley LLP, which have an office in Hereford, have donated more than £1,000 to the Noah’s Ark Trust.
The charity helps to rebuild the lives of local children living across Herefordshire and Worcestershire who have been shattered by the death of a loved one.
The money was raised from the raffle at a networking event which was held at Sixways Stadium, the home of Worcester Warriors Rugby Club.
Leading business guru, author and TV presenter Geoff Burch entertained about 200 businesspeople with his anecdotes on how to run a successful business.
Gabby Beddows, chief executive of the Noah’s Ark Trust, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this contribution and a special thank you also to all the delegates at the Geoff Burch event who donated so generously to the raffle.
“We would also like to thank the raffle sponsors and to Geoff Burch himself, who donated part of his fee to the charity.
“The money will be spent to help fund our weekend activity camps for children and their families as well as helping to fund the individual support that each child receives.
