THE new owners of a Hereford garage are promising free car health checks for motorists in the city.
Darren Haszczyn and business partner Stefan Quinn have taken over the HiQ centre in Widemarsh Street and have made the promise as they embark on their new venture.
And, despite the economic downturn, Mr Haszczyn believes the business can boom.
“As far as I’m concerned, there is no such thing as a credit crunch. I am so excited to take on the Hereford centre, and I can see no reason why business will not be great,” he said.
“Obviously, we are in the midst of some tough financial times but I don’t think that will stop this franchise being a resounding success on a number of levels.”
Mr Haszczyn has 22 years’ experience in the tyre trade and Mr Quinn worked in the sector for 30 years.
